Import a recipe from a link, or share it from your browser

Paste a recipe's web address into the cookbook's search box, or share the page to UnBizzy from your browser. UnBizzy reads the ingredients and saves the recipe, with a link back to the site for the method.

  1. Copy the address of the recipe's page.
  2. On Cookbook, paste it into Find a recipe, or paste a link. Or tap Add a recipe, paste it into Paste a recipe URL, and tap Import.
  3. UnBizzy reads the page. On Review Recipe, check the title and ingredients, then tap Save.

Share it from your browser

  • On Android: open the recipe in your browser, tap Share, and pick UnBizzy.
  • On an iPhone: open the recipe in Safari, tap Share, and pick UnBizzy. The first time, you may need to tap More to find it.

UnBizzy opens with the link already importing. Then it's the same as step 3.

Good to know

  • UnBizzy keeps the ingredients, for your grocery list. The method stays on the site, and the recipe's card takes you there. See Cook from the recipe's own website.
  • Share a link you've already saved and UnBizzy says "That one's already saved — here it is."
  • New recipes land in Imports. They aren't favorites until you star them.
  • If you've never subscribed, a few link imports are free. After that, link imports are part of the subscription. You can always type a recipe in with Add a recipe.

If it doesn't work

  • Some pages don't list their ingredients in a way UnBizzy can read, and many social media posts keep them in the caption. Then it says so and leaves them out rather than guess. Tap Open the page, copy the ingredients, come back, tap Paste the list, paste them in, and tap Add them.
  • On Android, if you share text with no web address in it, UnBizzy says "I couldn't find a link in that. Try sharing the recipe page itself."
