Plan the week in the chat

Tap Let's Plan! on Home, answer a few quick questions about the week, and the chat puts your dinners up first. Then tell it what to change, typed or said, until the week looks right.

Steps

  1. On Home, tap Let's Plan! on next week's card. The button turns gold when it's time to plan.
  2. The first time you plan, you'll see Before we start planning. It explains that UnBizzy uses an AI model from Anthropic, and that your preferences and what you type in the chat are sent to it. Tap I agree, let's plan. If you already agreed during setup, you won't see it.
  3. If last week's dinners haven't been checked off, it asks how they went (Before I plan). Answer each one, or tap Not now.
  4. On Quick setup for the week, say what's different: how many dinners, any nights eating out or ordering in, a leftovers night, which days need breakfast and lunch, and anything else under Anything I should know about this week? Skip anything that's the same as usual.
  5. Tap Start planning. The chat opens with the dinners on the way.
  6. Tell it what to change. Type in the message box, or tap the microphone and say it.
  7. When the week looks right, finalize it. See Finalize the week.

What to say

  • Who's home, which nights are busy, what's already in the freezer. Say it the way you'd tell a friend, and swap anything you don't like.
  • Ask for something specific: "tacos on Friday", "something quicker for Tuesday", "no fish this week."
  • Type it or say it. Ask for changes as often as you like, because nothing's set until you finalize.

Good to know

  • This week, or every week. The note box and the chat are about this week. To have UnBizzy remember something for every week, go to Settings, then The Hive, and tap Tell me something once. It shows you what it would keep before it keeps anything. You can also add a line under Anything you want every week? in the Preferences Center.
  • The week you're planning is named at the top of the form. Mid-week, tap Change there to pick This week (shop now) or Next week.
  • Dictation: what you say lands in the message box, so you can check it before you send. If you dictate a chat message, the operating system's speech recognition converts the audio to text under Apple's or Google's terms. UnBizzy receives only the text.
  • The planner is the part that needs a subscription.
  • You can read the AI screen again any time: Settings, then Account Settings, then AI & your data.

If it doesn't work

  • "Voice input needs microphone access" means the phone said no to the microphone. Tap Open Settings and turn it on for UnBizzy.
  • No microphone button, or it does nothing? Your phone doesn't offer speech recognition to apps. Type instead.
  • Something in a reply looks wrong or unsafe? Press and hold it and choose Report this response. See How to report a problem.
