Where to change them
On Home, tap the gear icon, then Preferences Center. Make your changes and tap Save.
What you can set there
- Any ingredients nobody here will eat? Single ingredients: mushrooms, olives. UnBizzy won't build a meal around them, though a little can still turn up in a sauce or a stock.
- Any kind of meal you'd rather skip? Whole kinds of meal: nothing spicy, no casseroles.
- Any food preferences? How you eat: vegetarian, low carb.
- Anything you want every week? In your own words: higher protein, one slow-cooker night. For one week only, use the note on the planning form instead.
- How adventurous should dinners be?
- How much cooking do you want to do?
- Hands-on time on a weeknight? The time you're actually at the stove: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Oven and wait time doesn't count.
- Nights that need less time: tap a night to give it less time, or make it a night off. These save as you go.
Busy nights
In Settings, Your Current Week shows what eats into your evenings (practice, lessons, late at work) and which nights. Those nights get faster dinners.
Tell it once, in a sentence
In the Hive, tap Tell me something once and type it the way you'd say it: "No fish, ever." UnBizzy shows you where it would keep it. Nothing's kept until you tap Keep it.
A dinner you never want again
Mark it Never Again and UnBizzy stops suggesting it.
Good to know
- Dislikes aren't allergies. Allergies have their own setting, and UnBizzy treats them as a safety rule. See How UnBizzy handles allergies.
- Something just for this week ("no fish this week") goes in the chat or in the planning form's note, not here.
